A moot question if conditions are anything like the past two years, but if the opportunity arises, are you allowed to draft?

I vote yes!! If you can hang, for sure, but check with Larry Bussinger to be certain. P

Problem is anyone you can catch is gong to slow for you to stay with, so your only hope is someone faster passes you close enough to latch onto. Good luck if you get the chance.

I had heard the guy I am replacing for this year's race got into trouble for drafting last year. While paddling to a 430th place finish on the bay, he was caught drafting the outfall bouy……that's legal??

My friend is appealing the ruling. He says that every time he would try to pass, the buoy would speed up. It was all I cou…. oops, all he could do to get around it. He would like to extend his gratitude to the nice people at Woods Coffee for letting him have an esspresso on credit. Or maybe it was the threat of having a half-dead paddle-warrior on the premesis.
