Port San Juan is an almost rectangular shaped inlet and bay about a 100 km drive from Victoria, BC. up the southwest coast of Vancouver Island. Sparsely populated, there is the small village of Port Renfrew on the south side of the inlet not far from the mouth of the San Juan river.

The surrounding mountains and coastline are home to a variety of hiking trails, most notably the West Coast Trail to the north and Juan de Fuca Marine Trail to the southwest.
