Seven surfers at MP and more coming. Wind blowing the tops of the waves right next to shore.

I went out at 3:00, made about 4 miles and was glad to get off. 3ft waves easy with short periods made for fun rides if you could angle across the face to avoid running into the back of waves, but there was the rub. With gusts over 45, it was a little touchy angling. Did mainly the Bloedel basin. When I tried paddling back up wind for a second go, the wind's intensity increased and made me happy with the one lap. Turning was also adventuresome with the rebound off the North shore as big as the incoming waves. Thank God form fat boat!

That was fun, I was the 3rd surfer out and lasted from 330 to 545, actually clean waves early from SSE winds side-offshore then Victory at Sea near the end as it clocked around more Southerly. Chest high occasionally head high, about 15 surfers at the end. Walk up to post point surf all the way to MP beach over and over again! What a novelty! Almost surfed through a mini waterspout!
Would have been good sailboard surf with side offshore!

What was up with the dude on the jetski? Saw him blast over some waves, catch some huge air, and then he swam for a loooong time.

It looks like Greg Bawden and Jeff Maloney got some action coming back from the San Juans on the ferry!
