Traverse City is located on the Grand Traverse Bay at the northeast end of Lake Michigan. These folks later moved to nearby Leland which is located on the northeast, windward shore of Lake Michigan. TCSurfski, besides offering an abundance of information about the sport of surfskiing, sells gear and offers lessons locally. They are definitely a goto resource for Great Lakes surfski information. They report that Lake Michigan in their neck of the woods provides consistent downwind conditions in the summer.
