It's blowing 18-25 there now; it always does this when it's warm due to thermal difference between the cold water in the bay and a hot Skagit valley. Tom S., Anna and I are headed down to Wildcat for laps at 3:00. Slogging back to Wildcat can be a pain, but it's well worth getting in some nice bumps on the way down to Samish!

I think more apropos would be the “wave finder”…….if there are waves anywhere in Whatcom County, I'll find them!

Looking good again today, so I'm heading out at 1:00 PM. If any of you decide to go, don't judge it by what you see at Wildcat; you need to get south of Clayton Beach for the wind and waves to kick up, and by the time you get to Dogfish Point it's cranking!
