I did get out paddle Sat and today in Utsalady Bay (North Camano Island).

Launch it at Utsalady boat launch. Wind was whipping ESE so I had to head south around the point (Madrona Beach) and then plow thru 3-5ft waves, then turn around and head back. That is when the fun started,,,wave after wave for about 4km flying 14-16km/hr and 16-18km/hr against the current (outgoing tide) on some of the bigger waves. Pure fun.

The drains in the ski were hissing some much, I was afraid it will suck my feet out ). 4km downwind go by so fast at that speed..feels very short.

I was tempting to go out Sunday, but it was way too gusty (dangerously).

Baja California sounds good now…hhmmmm nice warm weather and weather.
