Mega Paddling Journeys

Here's an interesting story

I haven’t read this yet, but it looks interesting – though not in your usual paddling magazine:

cool story. For a while LB would tell the story of Hans Lindemann doing trans-atlantic in his klepper.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannes_Lindemann

I was worried that LB was going to try to duplicate the feat, but it seems a Polish man recently did. So LB just settled on doing 'the abuse', (Seattle to Bellingham in one go).

The story behind Lindemann was a French guy, Bombard. Basically Lindemann though Bombard was too bombastic (bad humor). Here's the brief on that story:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alain_Bombard

There's quite a bit more to these stories, but don't ask LB about it unless you have a fresh beer and time to drink it slow.

If anyone has time and a fresh beer……….it's a good story. (Maybe two beers worth.)
