Vortex #3 Results 2024

Race was run yesterday. It was not “beeeg”, but we had enough waves to work with almost the whole way to make it fun (longer than usual Vortex - from Bob's Beach to Drano).
Wilson and Ana duked it out for a close 1-2 finish. And like she has done with Bellingham paddlers, Kate Baring had many Hood River locals wondering - who is that??? as she zipped by them. (This is Kate's first trip to the Gorge.) Oops- not her first trip - she paddled in the Gorge last year, but I'm pretty sure there were some firsts this year too - like the conditions she paddled in this time around on some runs?
