The Bellingham Regatta is coming up this Saturday. The racing will start at 9 and go all day long. We are short a few volunteers for safety on SUP’s. If you have a SUP, are willing and able bodied enough to successfully rescue any potential capsizes, please call or text me directly at 360-685-3702.

Pretty Great…Looking at Jonas times today…he would have finished in the top 7 in the 2020 Olympics for K1 200 and K1 1000 !!

The 1000 was not an accurate course; we had to shorten it.

And the 200 had quite a tail wind for us

Jonas is being appropriately humble in qualifying the Lake Padden results vs. the Tokyo Olympics, but if my (fuzzy) memory serves, Jonas beat Belgium’s Artuur Peters at the OKC event last year, who finished mid-fleet in the B final at Tokyo. So, yes, Lake Padden just maybe shadows the world stage after all.

I just have to add that Jonas and Aaron Small both went sub-23 minutes on Wednesday night last week in K-1s. That’s some all-time fast right there!
