Hey RD, after looking at the times, I'm kind of glad I'm in LA. There are some wide spreads and I'm not in that good of shape yet. And Ana's time……good grief. She acts like she is still in high school.

You make it look easy Peter! I really enjoyed the course today. Fun twist. And I’ve never paddled a double before, that was different in a good way. It even came with a Barton side car. That thing is fast…
You dropped a hint today that you are thinking about having the race later in the year, and I am curious what the new time frame for the race will be and what the desired wind would be? Of all the places where we could have a downwind race, seems like Bham would be it… but isn’t. What if we all had a jet ski escort driven by our choice of attorney? (Dibs on Brownlie).

I couldn't race, but I got to watch some parked on State St. over Boulevard park. Noticed quite few other lookie loers. I like the new course for flat water. But the potential for exponential when there's wind is not like many other venues.
Looking at results was a hoot. Several war stories buried in there. I noticed the wolf pack I might have tried to stay with had a half-dozen finishers all within about one minute. All of them chasing a teenage girl. Who says this isn't an injury sport: bruised egos all over the place. Looking like this is going to be a tough year. One more thing, David, did you “let” Duncan get by you?
I really missed you guys, especially all the 'creative history' stories after the race.
