I don't get that, but try a thin white/undyed nylon or merino wool shirt and see if that helps. You could use it as a liner under other things, something with a smooth surface. Silk is another option….

Try a rash guard

I used to get rashes after long paddles. But then switched to laundry detergents that do not have perfumes. I also use merino wool as a base layer often, as it's more comfortable than some of the other stuff I have.

Probably from the length of time without a break. You could try Vaseline or Bag Balm on skin before shirt.

Go to an allergist and find out exactly what you’re reacting to… THEN avoid it.

There are now great wool and/or silk first layers. Both can feel very nice and protect you well

Desitin does the trick for me. Apply before long paddles and no longer get the rashes I once did every paddle 10 miles or more.
MerÉveil
A moisturizing cream on the spot for light day. KT tape for harsh day…

Sportslick is pretty close to a silver bullet. Wherever you get problems, put a nice thick coating before you start paddling. But it’s best to try to minimize friction/irritation first. Carrying water on your back for 4.5 hours doesn’t make sense IMO.

Reed Aquatherm…never problems. just worn my skin without any base layer.
