The Grand Ducky of Fenwick (The Duchy of Grand Fenwick)
Grand Fenwick1) is the smallest country in the world2) . Nestled in the Alps (landlocked), it unfortunately has no bodies of water suitable for paddling other than possibly one steep whitewater stream. Natives have to leave the country to find places to paddle and typically have to travel a fair distance to find good downwinding such as occurs on some of the larger Swiss lakes3) .
