This page is intended to address paddling options that are not specifically good for downwinding although as these are ocean based with many significant tidal currents they all contain the possibility of vastly varied and potentially very difficult paddling conditions - so weather forecasts, web cams, on water conditions and local knowledge should be carefully consulted pre-outing.
