It's situated in the lee of the prevailing winds, with a large mountain and a jetty that makes it a piece of cake to do open ocean downwinds back to the mainland where a paddler can pick conditions to match their ability and ambition (hopefully both). On shore, there is easy parking, great eats and truly chill vibe. Getting on the water is no different than launching at Marine Park (Bellingham, WA) on a modest day.”
