Beaucoup congrats to Ana!!
Apparently Michelle Burn was well inside and we hear that Ana did not see her for most of the race. We also hear that several people ventured too close to some reef shallows with breaking waves which broke at least one of their surfskis.
We're still waiting for the final official results to find out where Wilson finished. There are a number of the GPS recorded times that are clearly way off, and they seem to include Wilson's based on who he has told us he finished close to (maybe within a minute of Oscar C?)

Just truly exceptional. These two athletes are at pretty rare altitude. Not many from this continent can run with the best in the world like this. The families, friends the very few other trailblazers have here a special milestone.

I hadn't seen Wilsons results, so I looked them up. Also impressive. Ana's was 41 OA.
Wilson - 50th overall, 13 in his category. 1min. 15 sec behind Ana. WOW. Good job Ana and Wilson. Can't wait to hear a write up from both of our hero's.

Well I think the commentator will be mentioning Ana's name at the start of the next race?
Great paddling Ana & Wilson.
It was good to see Oscar doing well also.

2nd place for Oscar in the old-guy division and just seconds from 1st. Probably the run up the beach!

They just posted this video. An overview of the day which does a really good job of capturing just how sizable the conditions were.
