Congrats to all. Great results. In our age groups, Bellingham dominated! Must be mentioned that The Cryder did finish first, not 5th in his surf ski race, which was held separate from the sprint machines.

Nick was most definitely racing with the sprint machines. Everyone, all divisions, raced together. He and my son Jake (in a Nelo) were together the whole race and were just behind the lead group of 5. Then on the 2nd to last turn (or maybe last one), Juraj Osusky and Kyle Field (in lead group) muffed the turn and crashed into each other. Nick and Jake got ahead of them and caught up with the, now smaller, lead group. The top 6 finished within 20 sec of each other. Nick nosed out my son in the final sprint to take 5th overall.
