Sunday Weather Shift on Camera

Yesterday I noticed that the SE winds were starting to abate to the low 20's along with a sunbreak. So I hustled to get the gear on and get out the door. While doing the final pass through the house before heading to MP, I noticed the telltale trees on the street that react to Westerlies were dancing hard? A quick check on the webcam showed the red can, which had been submerging the base in the troughs was now standing still? The SE waves were being canceled out by a strong Northerly. in the 20's. This happened in minutes. Soon, we got some snow flakes and than the rain.
Cliff Mass had a good overview and a great video that was taken at Skunk Bay. Recommend watching;

whoa. Repercussions here. If large air masses can do this that means that a paddler's observation has much smaller window. I guess Reality doesn't care if you understand it.

dang!
