This is my new favorite beer glass. The best part? As I was slurping up the last of the beer I happened to read what it said at the bottom.

By the way, how did we do for Sterling? Funny that Peter should mention that the touring kayak crowd got their money out ahead of us, but I'm pretty sure we threw down bigger bucks. I like that there wasn't lots of emotional drama and photos of carnage. I like making things happen with all you-all.

I sat next to JD and blabbed a couple of our embarrasing inside stories about the gorge. One was about us drinking all of David S whiskey and being told to go to bed by the campsite manager. Then while we are tucked away in our tents, I'm talking on my cell to my wife like a drunken lover and next tent LG is replying as if he were she. The nearby neighboring sites are all erupting in laughter before I caught on. sheesh.

good days. can't wait to go back. think I'll take my wife.

I remember that night fondly and for some reason took notes on it in my iphone (Reivers, have you given any thought to an iphone?). It went something like this:

LG to Reivers: `Goodnight sweety.'

Reivers to Hilde: `I love you sooooo much.'

LG to Reivers: `I know you do Reivers, I know you do. I love you too.'

Then Larry unzipped his tent to relieve himself and fell into a bed of ferns. Peter and I asked Larry what he was doing. He said, `pissing on my tent!' Just then, Julie came back from the bathrooms. Peter said, `Julie shine your light on Larry and see what he's doing.' She did and LG started yelling 'pervert!'

Five minutes later things went quiet and LG and Reivers were fast asleep.

Erik: `Peter, are you enjoying this?'

Peter: `Yeah, this is beautiful.'
