==== Inland ====

  * **Vänern (Lake)**  Very large lake (largest in the EU), SW is prevailing wind direction which can create 60+ kms of fetch in this large lake, but you could be blown very far off shore. There are offshore windfarms at the north end of the lake. Limited good shoreline access and degree of potential offshore exposure if you do a route with offshore wind may partially explain why the routes we have found and listed here require NNW winds (blowing onshore)
