The following are just a few examples that may help get you thinking about what kind of trips you might be interested in and how you can gather more trip information. Though most if not all typical guidebooks are designed for sea kayakers, open canoes and various boats designed for longer trips you may get ideas from such books for day trips or also for longer trips if you have a touring style surfski.

The magazines listed here tend to cover a diverse array of paddle sports although articles about surfskis may be few and far between. We are not including magazines with fairly narrow focus on non surfski types of paddling like SUP or whitewater although SUPers clearly do downwinding also.
