WOW......What a day and turnout!!!!

First the business end of things.  Approx 400-500 lbs of Non-perishable food!  Cash: A whopping 2500.00 Dollars or an Average of 50.00 donation per paddler...HOW COOL IS THAT!!!

We had 50 paddlers, 39 boats and one Xterra full of Food!

Thanks:  Ladies and Gents for the Brownies, Cookies, early morning coffee makers (Lance R. and Julie V.), and my daughter Ri for running back to the house to get all the the things I forgot right before her college soccer game. Thom and Joan for the Tent. Larry G. for that Killer Soup!!

Teams: Thanks for all the input for course setting and race ideas...couple minor changes in the works for next year but I think we have the basic formula!! (by the way...while setting buoys I saw the largest Crawdad I have ever seen or knew existed in Lake Padden.....I can tell you're thrilled.....)

Thanks to Duncan, Brandon, Julie V. and Larry G. for formatting all the info and making teams.....I think a total of about four minutes separated all relay teams at the finish and the Bell Ringing!

Highlights: DJ starting with everyone (enough with the DJ start jokes....), Devon Bumstead (what a "kid" stud), Pete Wells BEACH assault at the finish,(I think Beau has it on video), our annual swimmers (this time it was the ladies turn, thank you Kristin and Gwen)..promise I won't mention any names! How about the Older and Younger team of Dan B and Chelsea in the club double. How about Mike G. rock'in around the course in his K-1??? How about the Canadian Team of Trista and Brain with their three boat rig, and Lastly, Brian B's first time OC-2 paddling partner, also named Bryon!
