A strong contingent of Bellingham OC paddlers along with surfskiers Heather Nelson and Kevin Olney showed up for the race this morning.

Flat and slightly chilly conditions prevailed, with Don Kiesling winning the surfski division closely followed by Eric Moll and Shane Martin.

After a tactical chess match like OC-2 race, Eric Gerstl and I managed to pass and hold off  Brian Boatman and David Williams, with Pete Wells and Mike Lee third and Mike Hammer and Lance Romo fourth.

The Womens surfski division was also closely contested with Heather beating Tracy Landboe by about 2 boat lengths.
