So interesting to me:  when you are in an interview, you can't really answer the question.  Not as you would when you are speaking with friends or one-on-one.  Maybe Aaron had coaching, or maybe he's a natural.  But this interview is a clinic on how to do it.  You just sort of answer the glossy part of the question.  I could sense that he wanted to really share more, but just didn't.

I myself would blab about Greg B. and his giant influence in NW paddling.  They would be dragging me offstage as I yelled about all the Soundrower races.  I would be screaming about the legacy of the giant-killer rowers back in the day.  ... and all the unsung coaches around here, all the other great kids who give so much of themselves.  Look at me being an ijit, just talking about talking.  Ok, I'll put a sock in it, let me find a clean one.
