===== Burrows Bay =====

On the south side of Anacortes - may funnel large swell into its bay on large swell days, but provide cleaner waves and no tidal current resistance….(may need some south in the wind pushing swell into Burrows?, we have looked at this on a big west wind day and the bay did not have much in terms of clean waves or swell - but could see using island lees to get to gaps where west waves were bigger). The shoreline parks (Tugboat, Cabana) near Skyline Marina seem to be posted as private, but next to Cabana Park, maps show Cabana Ln. Water Access - which may be the most likely public access. Some of this land seems to have signs posted for shoreline restoration - so at a minimum please be respectful and as low impact as possible if you launch there (and let us know of anything you discover about public access to the water here.) The wind shadows of the islands to the west can cause the wind and waves in the Bay to be somewhat spotty according to local wingfoilers.
