**Booty Bay Race Update**

Course map and notes:

Check in at Marine Park from 8:30 - 9:15. You will be assigned a race number to affix to your boat.

Pre-race meeting will be at 9:15. Attendance is required to race!

Race start is at 10:00 sharp. There will be a yellow flag on shore raised 2 minutes before the start. When the flag drops and the horn goes off everybody goes! Start line is between the piling off Marine Park and a green buoy 100’ offshore.

The course goes from Marine Park to Cornwall Beach and back along the Boulevard Park shoreline. The turn mark at Cornwall is an orange buoy with a yellow top. It will be near the beach. On the return leg you must pass inside the yellow buoy line near the Community Boating Center.

Along the course there will be orange tetrahedral buoys with prize tokens attached, as well as some bearers of booty in sea kayaks with orange flags displayed. If you get there first please only take one prize token. Individual racers will be limited to three prize tokens.

Additionally, any piece of plastic recovered from the race course will be awarded a -15 second time bonus.

The finish will be at the piling in front of Marine Park

Please report you time adjustments to the timing crew as you return to shore.

Prizes will be awarded at Stones Throw Brewery at 12:30
